the beginning...

Here I am, a month and a half out of the big move, and I am an organizational machine. I only have one suitcase left to unpack of the abundance that invaded our home a few weeks ago. I have never gotten rid of so much stuff in my life and it feels FANTASTIC. Just as a point of reference, this is what my room on campus looked like before the move:


Yeah, I know. What a disaster. So all the stuff got packed up and moved home and I thought my parents were going to kill me. Fortunately they settled for nagging me constantly and slowly but surely things are falling into place. I have almost all of my kitchen stuff, office supplies, and decor packed. The clothes will be a much bigger project to save for a different date.

Going to a bridal shower tonight - I can't believe my friends are getting married. I truly feel like an adult. Sometimes.
